New website
My new portfolio site is now live. Took a bit longer than I had hoped but now I can relax a bit.
With people more regularly using iPhones and iPads to access the internet, I kept the site design itself quite simple therefore more widely accessible. I also wanted the focus to be on my work and not on gimmicks.
Take a look

Up There
In a time when the advertising industry is getting less about genuine craft and more about deadlines and tiny budgets, it is nice to see that 'beautiful' ads still exist somewhere.
Up There is a film about those people who create ads with only a paint brush and a wall.
A film by Malcolm Murray.

Euro Murals
Whilst on a recent trip to Central Europe I visited some really stunning little towns.
What struck me is how much they valued their architecture and the presentation of their homes, shops, cafes and bars; both new and old.
Many of the buildings had wonderful typographical signage or just the most intricate and incredible murals. This seemed to be the trend everywhere we visited, from southern Germany across to Switzerland (with Austria and Liechtenstein inbetween!).
Oh, and some weren't so pretty ...
Tut tut.
Have a look at my Flickr account to see a few more.
